“Freedom Flight” was created during a period of deep personal grief following the loss of my mother-in-law. The eagle, shown with wings fully extended, represents resilience and the ability to rise while carrying pain. Set against a layered, textured abstract background, subtle words such as freedom, power, courage, and strength are woven into the composition, echoing the emotions I moved through during the healing process. The layering reflects the complexity of grief—heavy, uneven, and evolving—while the eagle embodies both vulnerability and inner strength, capturing a moment of transformation through loss.
